I like to pretend as if fall is ACTUALLY here, even though we all know that it probably won't arrive until the middle of December. Speaking of the end of the year, it seems as if this year is going to be a pretty busy one, from turning a year older this month (nooooo!), heading to Cancun/Playa Del Carmen/Tulum for a week in November, then coming back and heading back to Mexico for work for a few weeks...I think that this year's "Holiday Series" will either get cancelled or get pushed way ahead of schedule to accommodate everything I have planned, but I guess we shall see. Who else is excited that it is October finally?! I think I'm just gonna go home tonight and start decorating my ass off and NO ONE can tell me that I am going a bit crazy.

There are a few times when I catch myself (still) watching "Say Yes To The Dress" on TLC and hearing girls describe their "dream wedding dress" to the consultant, to whom they say that "lace is NOT an option" and they would hate to wear that on their special day. As you can imagine, my jaw drops every time, I mean, lace is gorgeous! Of course, this also depends on what kind of specific lace you are referring to and what type of dress you might be looking for. For everyday wear, I usually play up a mix and match of textiles, for example this this case, lace, denim, and velvet shoes. It is such a play on juxtaposition which automatically makes it one of my go-to combos for any season, hell, I'd even wear it to a wedding! Yes, you read right. A wedding, a bar, a late night taco run, to wherever the fuck you want.
