Can you tell burgundy is one of my favorite colors? It's no surprise that when lingerie/loungewear indie company, Uye Surana, reached out, I couldn't resist but choose this piece to feature on the blog. Designer Monica Wesley built a business which carefully crafts and creates her pieces with only the highest quality materials, and utilizes silk, mesh, and lace. I present to you the Eyelash Lace Inlay Bra- composed of a single layer of gorgeous burgundy-dyed mesh on the front & double layer mesh on the sides. You would think that this post was titled after Taylor Swift's infamous song, but it's only because I literally had no idea where I wanted to shoot this outfit- hence the thought. I have been having a lot of difficulties lately trying to put outfits together, and this one barely passed the test. The only thing I was sure of was that this top needed all of the attention, and it's only because I am not used to being so daring (believe it or not). I have always known that the v-neck top + bralette look was one that I wanted to try, and I think I was successful- do you? Granted, the pants are a little too loose for my liking (I think I am losing weight- not sure how!), but I think the heels made the look in the end. I don't own any minimal heels such as this, so when Missguided contacted me and decided to make me their footwear ambassador for the next month (gasp!), I knew this had to be one of the three pairs of shoes I chose for them to give me, and they didn't disappoint. Love at first sight!
