This weekend was one for the books; from getting up to see the sunrise from the Grand Canyon, stopping by a landmark site at the Flintstones tour & diner place in "Bedrock City", getting to drive our car through groups of wild animals at "Bearizona" (no..seriously! You drove through a path/maze of different animal zones while they roamed around freely! You'll see what I'm talking about soon!), finding the greatest scores ever at Savers (God I missed that place), and overall spending some much needed "married" time with Alex is exactly what I needed in my life. This Thanksgiving was one of the best times of my life, and I could not think of a better way to end November than with such an adventurous event. I had never been so in touch with nature...not kidding! There was absolutely NO signal for long miles throughout the canyon! It was very refreshing, since social media tends to run my personal and work life altogether. Can't wait to start planning our next trip!

I feel that every girl should own a kimono, whether it be a small casual one, or a long, statement-like one. As my trip gets closer, I have been keeping my eyes out on the last of the kimonos of the season because I will surely be living off them while I'm there. I wore this outfit unknowingly cruising through the farm areas of Calexico, and the weather was a stormy and dark one- in other words, a perfect day.

The weekend was spent in Calexico again, with little to do, yet full of relaxation. It is currently around 105 degrees outside, and I am about to head back to San Diego. These past three months have been a test of my patience, since I have returned back to living at my parents. It seems like I have less time for anything, and sometimes I hardly talk to Alex for more than an hour on a daily basis. Luckily, my job can get a bit interesting everyday, and the people that surround me are usually exceptionally funny. There will be a break from this monotony that is my life in two weeks because I will be in Hawaii for 10 days, and I am desperately counting down the days. For now, I bring you this boho-chic outfit that will surely be imitated throughout this vacation. FLORAL HAZE

I AM WEARING:

I had been neglecting to wear this jumpsuit for quite some time, and I had even forgotten I had it still in the bag I purchased it in. Being that I am a bit on the shorter side, of course it was too long for me, so I paired it with my only choice of platforms at the moment (my gifted Chinese Laundry one, obviously). I wore this to church on Sunday, and I only realized until I got there that the back was a little too low for my taste (for that occasion anyway), so I was so glad when it was finally over. I have come to realize that florals are all MY rage right now (if that makes sense), and I go crazy over anything like it. 

Oh and I'm sure you noticed the haircut. I almost died when I saw how short it ended up being, but fell in love a minute later. It was definitely time for a change.
