It has been a whirlwind of crazy events in my life lately, and I would definitely be lying if I said I didn't have enough time to write some posts up. It's not time I am concerned about, it's all about the energy I DON'T have. Ever since my husband and I have been living apart, I have been full of 'nothingness', no ability to do actually anything because I miss him and my old life so much. Weekends surely aren't enough, and life is getting really complicated right now. I hope that this routine changes again soon.

It has been a while (don't as how long because I won't tell you) since I went to my prom. Every year around this time I get especially nostalgic because high school was honestly some of the best years of my life. My idea was never to purchase this dress, but when I saw Kate Moss rocking it in every ad for her Topshop collection, I felt that I at LEAST needed to try it on- and let me be the first to say that it probably weighs as much as I do. Looking closer at it, the details are almost mind-boggling; every bead carefully sewn on to tie into the final tier look. If only they had this when I was looking for the perfect dress- maybe then I would've been voted "best dressed".

I am a big fan of wearing embroidery, especially when it's as festive and chic as on this dress by Kate Moss for her latest collection with Topshop. It is very airy and lightweight, exceptionally perfect for days like these- hot and sticky (ew)! This particular dress is a little bit on the heavier side, but nonetheless exquisite and gorgeous for music festivals or casual days around the beach. Pair it with some of your favorite wedges, ankle boots, or sandals for that must have look of the season.

Soy gran admiradora de usar ropa con mucha textura y bordada, especialmente cuando es tan festivo y chic como este vestido hecho por Kate Moss x Topshop. Es super ligero, perfecto para dias como estos- calientes y pegajosos! Este vestido en particular es un poco pesado, pero hermoso y suave para eventos como festivales de musica o dias cuando quieras ir a la playa. Usalos juntos con unas botitas, sandalias, o plataformas para tener ese look que deseas.

I can't believe it's Wednesday already; this is ALWAYS a good thing, especially when I get to see Alex in 48 hours and have Memorial Day to look forward to (beach, anyone?)! I think this distance gives me those little flutters again. Sappy, I know.

I wasn't expecting to get ahold of anything Kate Moss for Topshop, but when shopping at Nordstrom, our sales girl let us know that everything that was going to be sold on April 30th was on pre-sale that day. That was five days before the grand day, and I looked at Alex and he said, "Go for it". And I think I did, maybe a little overboard, but overall extremely satisfied. The girl brought out all the pieces and I chose what I liked most (this very much included that beaded infamous dress that Kate wore for her advertisements!). His wallet wasn't as pleased as the look on my face, but he hardly ever says no to me (spoiled, no, extremely loved, yes!). I tried on almost everything in the collection and walked out with my top five items. I can't wait to show you the rest of them in upcoming posts!

No esperaba comprar nada de la nueva colección de Kate Moss y Topshop, pero mientras estábamos de compras en Nordstrom, la chica que nos estaba ayudando nos dijo que toda su ropa estaba en preventa antes del gran dia. Eso era en cinco días, así que voltee hacia Alex y me dio una cara de que estaba bien. Casi me vuelvo loca- la ropa por la mayor parte estaba a mi gusto, y hermosa! La muchacha me saco las piezas y yo escogí mis favoritas para ir a probarmelos. Salí con las top cinco cosas que me encantaron, y no puedo esperar a enseñarles otros conjuntos muy pronto!
