I would love to say that I spent my V-Day in the best place possible doing what everyone would wish they were doing today- lying half naked in bed ALL DAY watching episode after episode of "Friends".  Doesn't that sound so dreamy? I mean, it honestly doesn't get any better than that. 

I had shot this look almost 2 weeks ago in hopes of getting it up BEFORE today, but as you can see, I clearly had other priorities. Kidding, I was just f*cking tired everyday after getting home from work that I can honestly sit here and let you all know that I just did not wanna edit anything, simple as that.  The best part of all? This look doesn't just have to be for a sappy "love-filled" day; wear it with my go-to favorite combo of sleek straight hair, a clutch, and tons of eyeliner and semi-nude matte lipstick. Get the idea?

A casual weekend by La Jolla Cove definitely deserves its own perfect outfit, and what better than a slip dress and a lightweight denim jacket? I guess you can say I have been inspired (lately) by Urban Outfitters' catalogs or something because it's either that or this weather is really not helping me out in the hair department. Either way I think this look is one that I will be wearing over and over again this spring.

Guys, guys, guys. I know. This is LITERALLY like the first post of 2016, and look, it is officially on February 1st. On top of work, personal life, and just legit kind of giving myself a sort of a "social media break" (which I think was a "thing" among us bloggers this beginning of the year), I am back with a look that you can wear this V-Day. As a San Diego girl, I am used to the hustle and bustle of the big city, hanging out on the downtown rooftops, taking a taxi (or Uber) everywhere, or wearing contrasting outfits to unexpected places. I decided to wear this dress with strappy heels, but you can combine it with a pair of zippered ankle boots and a faux leather jacket to compliment your personality. 

On a personal note, I've decided to go back to what I used to do before and share a little bit more of what happens "behind-the-scenes" in my life, starting with the fact that Coldplay just announced their US tour and I totally missed the pre-sale, so I am freaking out. I NEED to go see them, I think I would die and go to musical heaven, since they are honestly one of my favorite bands in the world. Here is to hoping that this week turns out to be a very good one and I get tickets, so send your good vibes my way. Who will I be seeing at the Rose Bowl in August?!
