You might have already seen me wear this dress about two weeks ago on an outing to Mexicali with friends. The weather here is nowhere near being cold, so even between the hours of 11pm-4am, it was the most comfortable, breathable shift dress I've ever worn. What sold me was the detailing on of the exposed zippers, both down the back and on the front pockets. What about the color? I think it's the closest thing to even being related to the fall season! I would like to say that I know what I am doing today, but sometimes the best times are those that are unplanned, don't you think? One thing that is definite on the list? A date night with Alex; seems like we had the same thing in mind- going to the movies! I'd like to say that a scary movie is preferred!

Creo que ya habían visto este vestido; lo use hace dos semanas para una fiesta con amigos en Mexicali. El clima aqui todavia no esta nada cerca de estar frio, y entre las horas de 11 de la noche y 4 de la mañana, es el vestido mas comodo del mundo! Lo que me atrajo mas son los zippers expuestos, por atras y enfrente en los bolsillos que tiene. Y que tal el color? Es la cosa mas cercana al otoño del conjunto! Les deje los links arriba para el vestido y bolsa, que les recomiendo muchísimo para estas temporadas! 

Les quisiera decir que se perfectamente lo que haremos hoy, pero aveces las dias mas exitosos son los que no tienen planes, o no? Una cosa definitiva en la lista? Una noche en las películas con Alex! Aparentemente los dos estamos en un estado de animo para ver película de terror!

It is rare that I turn any fluffy or shaggy jacket down, and this one from Minkpink was definitely no exception. I was going to originally pair this with some faux leather leggings, and though I can see that outfit being a possibility, I liked it better with this lace skirt. I've also really been into stripes lately, so the sweater was an added bonus. Now you're ready to throw your hair down and take on the night (or day)! Can the weather cool down and be somewhere around 60 degrees like San Diego was meant to be so I can wear it more often?

I can't believe that it is October once again starting tomorrow; the end of the year is always one which puts a lot of pressure for me somehow. Maybe it's probably because of the holidays, birthdays, and trying to figure out which family we have to visit on what day. I am going to Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with Alex, and we are thinking that we might take a road trip to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and maybe Flagstaff (if it's snowing!) for the occasion. The whole time we've been living there, we never got to go to the famous scenic place, and it actually sounds like the perfect plan.
